Notes: The Kyosho Javelin (Legendary Series, kit #30618) is a 1/10 scale 4WD electric buggy that faithfully reproduces the original 1986 competition model.

We compare tray dimensions against verified battery dimensions, applying a 2mm tolerance for cable management and straps.

Spacer Required: The battery is notably shorter than the tray, so a foam block helps prevent movement.

Voltage mismatch: The battery’s max charged voltage exceeds the car’s rated limit.

Hard case required: Some tracks require hard-case packs for safety and compliance.

Low voltage alarm recommended: The chassis may not be LiPo-ready, so extra protection is recommended.

Adapter needed: The connector type differs, so a rated adapter or re-solder is required.

We group compatible connectors, surface “fits with mod” only when an expansion-height path exists, and still recommend verifying wire exit clearance in photos.
